KAYAK TOUR
10am, Lovers Key State Park. Join a Park Ranger for a relaxing 1.5-mile kayak tour. Learn the history of Black Island and experience some of the wildlife that calls the park home. Bring your own kayak or rent one from park concession. Reservations required.239-463-4588. Free with park entry.
SUNSET CELEBRATION
5-10pm, Times Square. Gather in Times Square to watch the sun set and enjoy food & fun, plus a free live music concert with High Tide.

9am, Mound House. Fun for the whole family - a kayak tour designed for parents and their children ages 6 & up. Look for wildlife including birds, dolphins and manatees as you cruise through the mangroves in Estero Bay. Great for children and first time kayakers with instruction on land before heading out at an easy, relaxed pace. Reservations required 239-765-0865. Cost: $15 (ages 6 to 12); $25 (ages 13 and up) Museum Admission included (Members $10) All paddling equipment provided. Weather permitting. Maximum of 12 paddlers per tour.
ARCHEOLOGY OF THE MOUND HOUSE
10am, Mound House. Explore what archeologist uncovered about the Calusa Indians that lived on the Mound House’s 2,000-year-old shell mound. View artifacts from the Mound House currently not on display and sort through materials from the shell mound. Learn some of the tools & techniques that archeologists use to uncover clues about people of the past. 239-765-0865. Moundhouse.org Adults $15, museum admission included; members free.
