LIFE ON FORT MYERS BEACH

LIFE ON FORT MYERS BEACH
Christmas Events Planned
Thanksgiving is over, and that holiday magic is in the air as our little town becomes festooned with twinkling lights and holiday cheer. Christmas on a tropical island is an experience like no other, and the absence of snow and cold temperatures means there’s a lot more opportunities for holiday fun! We’ve compiled a list of some local holiday events, so grab some jingle bells and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.  Follow this link for a complete guide to Christmas events happening on Fort Myers Beach

Downtown Redevelopment Concept Revealed
The members of the Fort Myers Beach Town Council and the Lee County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) filled the front of the meeting room at Florida SouthWestern State College last Monday afternoon. County and town staff were scattered among the standing room only crowd of over 300 Fort Myers Beach residents and business owners as developers Tom Torgerson and John Dammermann of Grand Resorts Fort Myers Beach laid out their vision of a major redevelopment for downtown Fort Myers Beach.
